OH Johnnies 04

Margo sent this in for me to post:

'Oh Johnny, Oh Johnny, Oh!' was written in 1916 by Abe Olman and Ed Rose. It reappeared in 1938 and again sold a million copies. This song, that became popular during a war and again during the depression, is catchy and uplifting. And do we need that now!

OH Johnnies 04
We now have Two Johns for 2004
To sing to the tune of "Oh Johnny"

Oh Johnnies, Oh Johnnies
You're going to win.
Oh Johnnies, Our nation's strengthened within.
You give a vision of healthcare and jobs;
Your environment and energy stands,
We'll work hard for all your plans.

Oh Johnnies, Oh Johnnies,
We're going to win.
What makes us feel secure?
Your commitments are true,
So when we look at you,
We're so Oh, Johnnies,
We're all with you.

Oh Johnnies, Oh Johnnies
We're going to win,
What gives us back respect?
You'll put our country on track,
You'll bring peace to Iraq.
We're so, Oh Johnnies
We're all with you.

Oh Johnnies, Oh Johnnies
We're going to win,
What gives us back our hope?
It's what our families long,
You'll make America strong
We're so Oh, Johnnies,
We're all with you.
